Musicians and Performers

Join us for an afternoon of music and performing arts. This year we’ve expanded our jazz show to include not just great jazz, but a variety of music to get you on your feet. There will be main stage performances from 1-5 pm.

Tin Bird Choir

Get ready for Tin Bird Choir, a band that hail from Coventryville, Pennsylvania with a wonderful blend of country, folk and rock that should instantly appeal to fans of Americana roots rock. The husband and wife team of Eric and Heather Hurlock share singing duties and their voices compliment each other beautifully. Heather brings the sweetness and Eric brings a bit of the twang. The band, which also includes bassist Josh Sceurman and drummer Ellen Houle can handle a foot stomper as deftly as a heartbreaking ballad. Trucks and cornfields figure in as both backdrop and inspiration; so let the rolling hills of rural Pennsylvania enter your mind as the down home folk rock of Tin Bird Choir brings you the goods.

Doc Freeman

Doc Freeman already have a solid fan base in the Jenkintown area as they have played local venues for years. They’re a blues rock power trio comprised of drummer Larry Rhoads, bassist/vocalist Mike Levin and lead guitar/vocalist Dave Cohen and they carry the torch for bands like Cream and the Allman Brothers. Doc Freeman will energize the festival with blues standards and crowd-pleasing rock-n-roll classics.

Cafe Con Pan Band

Café Con Pan (Coffee and Bread) is a Latin Jazz Band with musical roots stemming from the US, the Carribean and Africa.
Formed in July of 2005 by percussionist Rick Rodriguez, Café Con Pan brings together an impressive array of talented musicians such as Mike Colon, the bassist, arranger and musical director; Fred Martin, the man with the magic hands on piano; Roberto Morales “the professor” on congos; the legendary Teddy Panama, Jr. on timbales; Bill Murray Jr. on tenor sax; Ralph Di Silvestro on trumpet and last but certainly not least, Carlito Carasquillo on trombone. If you love big, brassy jazz with intoxicating rhythms that will inspire you to move your hips then Café Con Pan is the band for you.
